Personally I think getting tom Glavine would be a steal for any team looking for a pitcher. This was clearly a salary dump for the Braves who just signed Nate McClouth. This pretty much means that any team out there can get a wiley vet (and a low-key, low-maintenance one at that) who would be a leader in the clubhouse for a rock bottom salary with a contract heavy with incentives but little in the way of guarantees. He may not be what he used to be, but he did win 15 as recently as 2006. Along with 290 other games in his illustrious career.
On a personal note, I would love to see the Cardinals make a run at him. He could be a good stabilizing presence for a tempestuous staff.
